Chapter 5 - Setting up the nTouch 180 unit

Starting Kiosk manually

1. On the main set up screen, press Exit.

This screen is displayed.

2. Wait for the countdown to reach zero.

Kiosk will start automatically and attempt to connect to an NWare project using the

settings that are currently stored.

If the project settings are valid, the project start screen will be displayed in Kiosk.

If the project name or log on settings are not valid, you will be prompted to enter them

before you can continue.

Tips:

 The Starting Kiosk... screen will now be shown each time the nTouch 180 boots.

 If you want to exit Kiosk when it is running, you will need to use a keyboard

connected to the nTouch 180. Press ALT+F4 to close the application and return to the

Starting Kiosk... countdown screen.

Calibrating the screen

If you find that the touch screen is not responding when you try to select on-screen options,

you can calibrate it.

Tip: We recommend that you use a stylus when completing the procedure below, as you will

need to touch areas of the screen very accurately.

 To calibrate the screen

1. On the main set up screen, press Touch Screen Calibration.
