Chapter 3 - Previous releases
28 Version 1.6.2a.0 May 17, 2011
345 - When you uninstall NWare, not all items associated with the installation
are removed
379 - Cannot uninstall via Control Panel under Windows Vista or Windows 7
To uninstall NWare under Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must navigate to the NWare
shortcut in the Start menu, click the shortcut, and then click Uninstall NWare <version>.
Note: It is currently not possible to uninstall NWare via Windows Control Panel, even if
you are logged on as Administrator.
404 - Page locking feature prevents a project from being edited.
If you use the page locking feature, it is possible that NWare will not allow you to view the
different pages in your project or add devices to the project. We have seen this problem occur
in the following scenario:
1. A new NWare project is created.
2. A new page is added next to the default page and then it is locked (and automatically
hidden).
3. The new page is shown again.
4. The first page is deleted.
5. The project is saved and then reloaded.
No page tabs are available, so different pages cannot be viewed or edited.
Release 1.5.3.A (November 16, 2009)
Features
There are no new features in this release.
Bug fixes
NWare
506 - Editing multiple control properties caused NWare to close unexpectedly
In NWare 1.5.3, if you selected several controls in your design that were of different types - a
fader and a knob, for example, and then made a change to the properties, when you clicked
OK, NWare closed unexpectedly.
Notes:
This problem did not occur when changing the properties of controls of the same type.
This problem did not occur in versions prior to 1.5.3.
NION
505 - Audible pop can be heard on outputs when powering down the NION
Previously, when you shut down the NION from the front panel, an audible pop could be heard
from speakers connected to NIO-8o and NIO-4x4 analog output cards installed in the unit.
Note: If the NION loses power unexpectedly, because a power cable has been suddenly
removed, for example, a pop may still be heard.
